The paintings in the Current Series present a variety of clear shapes and brilliant colors in mostly unaccustomed forms. My intention with these primarily minimalistic pieces is to create an emotional response through the combination of different hues in geometric contexts. Forms are combined in nontypical and sometimes playful ways to augment the emotional response to color combinations. These also create a certain sense of motion and texture. But the overall effect is intended to be one of pleasure and emotional energy. Enjoy!
